I am deviating from my usual posting of completed order photos to spread the word about a very talented fellow Etsian. I ordered these from Lori at LorisPlace on Etsy last week and they arrived today. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! They are absolutely beautiful and will make wonderful party favors for a wedding shower this weekend.

It is all I can do to keep from taking a bite out of one. I peeked in on them but had to tape the box closed this afternoon to keep them safe from little chompers in the house! All I can say is that I hope there is at least one left for me to taste when the party is over...

Since I have had so many people asking for me to save a space for a future order, I have created a Special Order Deposit Button. For a $25 deposit you can specify the month you want your order delivered. Along with a description of what you want to order, I can organize my orders so that everyone gets their order exactly when they need it. You may wait until your garment is ready to be cut out before specifying final size and custom measurements.

The way it works is:
1. You purchase a deposit for each garment you want to order with your specifications on approximate size, color, fabric, style, extras on the garment.
2. Specify a date that you want your order delivered by. Your garment will be started 2-6 weeks before it's due date (depending on complexity of your order).
3. I will contact you approximately a week before starting your order and send an invoice for your final payment.
4. When you send your final payment you may specify the current size and custom measurements that you want your garments made to in case the child has had a growth spurt since you paid your deposit.

Back in the Swing(Spring?) Again

Well, Spring is coming back and so are the orders! I cut off for Easter on the last week of January but am now receiving orders for summer weddings. How exciting! Here are a few pics of the two goodies that just went out this week. The first one is a simple little Tucked Collar Bubble done in white Imperial Broadcloth and Imported Batiste collar and cuffs trimmed in Ecru lace.

The second was a sweet dress designed by the mom. I love how she wanted the lace from the butterfly sleeves to line up with the lace insertion going across the chest. It is made from white Imperial Batiste and ecru laces.

The next one will be absolutely gorgeous though! It is a beautiful Imported Batiste dress with Ecru lace for a Spring wedding. I can't wait to post the pics of it. Wow, just realized that most of my orders are for White trimmed with ecru...

Easter Orders!

This year Easter caught me a little off guard with the number of orders that came in so quickly in January and February. I had anticipated narrowing down the orders and cutting off somewhere near March 1.... However, I had to cut off Easter orders in mid February! I was so pleased to have orders but was just blown away at how early people were shopping this year.
